Divine Lobster Benedict
A solid breakfast spot! One of our favorite breakfasts that we had on our vacation to Ogunquit. They got us seated quickly and server was very friendly and attentive. Best corned beef hash of the trip, and I loved the thick homemade whipped cream on top of my waffle. My husband enjoyed his lobster eggs benny. A classic diner feel. We would definitely return!

Our late breakfast visit to The Egg and I...in Ogunquit, Maine, yielded a pleasantly surprising experience. This immaculately clean restaurant boasts a unique atmosphere that blends elements of a diner and pancake house. The menu is well-structured, offering a wide range of options to cater to diverse tastes, all at reasonable prices. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted with a smile, and our server...delivered exceptional service that was both prompt and friendly. We opted for the Irish Benedict and Country Fried Steak, both of which were served hot and were incredibly delicious. The Country Fried Steak is particularly noteworthy, featuring a flavorful Country Sausage Gravy and tender steak. For those seeking a classic, reasonably priced breakfast, this restaurant is an excellent choice.

The food was tasty. I had a lobster omelette along with a traditional bloody Mary and my husband had a more traditional breakfast of eggs, sausage, bacon and French toast and coffee. The omelette was lobster with a great sauce and packed with flavor. Our server was Mike and he was wonderful. The place was super busy but he was attentive and really sweet. We will definitely be back!!
